Die Corona-Pandemie hat diese Entwicklung noch zusätzlich angefeuert. **** ![AdobeStock_257393075](https://www.municall.de/hs-fs/hubfs/Bilder%20(lizenziert)/AdobeStock_257393075.jpeg?width=518&name=AdobeStock_257393075.jpeg) Der Megatrend trifft unterschiedlichste Bereiche: - Sich verändernde Kundenbedürfnisse - Ein neues Marktumfeld - Verändertes Anspruchsdenken der Mitarbeiter - Neue digitale Wettbewerber - Neue Geschäftsmodelle - Chancen für Effizienz- und Effektivitätsgewinn. Zu beachten ist, dass eine erfolgreiche Digitalisierungsstrategie immer essentiell mit der Unternehmensstrategie verbunden sein muss. Diese Transformation – basierend auf Cloud-Services - hängt essentiell von einer permanenten Verfügbarkeit von Konnektivität und Vernetzung des Unternehmens ab. SD-WAN und UCC sind zwei Technologien, die genau diese Sicherheit stärken und damit unverzichtbar für die Digitalisierung eines jeden Unternehmen sind. SD-WAN – neue Anforderungen an Konnektivität Beim Vergleich von traditionellem WAN und dem neuen, softwaredefinierten WAN (SD-WAN) fallen Gemeinsamkeiten aber auch signifikante Unterschiede zu Gunsten des SD-WAN auf. Jede dieser Netzwerkimplementierungen ist auf eine Art von Verbindung angewiesen. Das kann MPLS, Breitband, Ethernet oder Mobilfunk sein. Beide benötigen auch eine Art Routing-Endpunkt-Hardware an Quelle und Ziel der Verbindung. SD-WANs jedoch verfügen zusätzlich über ein Software-Overlay für die Bereitstellung und Verwaltung von Verbindungen. Diese Software enthält alle Verbindungsinformationen, Sicherheitsinformationen und Netzwerkinformationen.  **Stichwort: Netzwerkausfallsicherheit!** Darüber hinaus verfügt das SD-WAN in der Regel über eine zentrale Steuerung, die es ermöglicht, mehrere WAN-Verbindungen gleichzeitig zu verwalten. Diese Funktion erübrigt die Notwendigkeit, jeden Endpunkt einzeln zu programmieren, wenn Änderungen vorgenommen werden. Ein traditionelles WAN ermöglicht Load Balancing und Disaster Recovery durch Carrier-Diversität. Wenn sich die Umgebungssituationen ändern, ist das SD-WAN aber viel agiler als die individuelle Programmierung der traditionellen Geräte und in der Lage, Änderungen in Echtzeit einfacher durchzuführen. **Stichwort: vielfältige Konnektivitätsoptionen!** Das SD-WAN hat im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen WAN eine virtualisierte Verbindung, die von der physischen Verbindung abstrahiert wird und sich darüber befindet. Diese virtuelle SD-WAN-Verbindung kann einfach von einem Gerät zum anderen verschoben oder schnell und je nach Bedarf des Unternehmens geändert werden. SD-WAN ermöglicht eine dynamische Steuerung des Datenverkehrs. Wenn Anwendungen mehr Bandbreite benötigen, kann das SD-WAN neu zuweisen und sich so schnellstmöglich anpassen. Bei einem traditionellen WAN würde es typischerweise mehr manuelle Programmierung erfordern, wenn eine Änderung erforderlich ist. **Stichwort: effiziente Bandbreitennutzung!** UCC – neue Anforderungen an die Sprachkommunikation Virtuelle UCC-Lösungen (Unified Communications & Collaboration) bieten eine ganz neue Form der Flexibilität, weil sie dynamisch mit dem Unternehmen wachsen können und dabei Trends, wie die nomadische Nutzung oder Heimarbeit, perfekt bedienen. So können Mitarbeiter, unabhängig von ihrem Aufenthaltsort, nahtlos in die Unternehmenskommunikation eingebunden werden.  Vier wesentliche Features sind hier zu nennen: 1. **Medienintegration** – UCC Lösungen führen unterschiedliche Medien wie Audio, Video, Text auf einer Oberfläche auf allen IP-Endgeräten zusammen. 2. **Präsenzfunktion** – Kollegen können direkt erkennen, wer gerade erreichbar ist. 3. **Kontextintegration durch CRM-Connect** – andere Anwendungen lassen sich problemlos einbinden und verknüpfen. Ihr genutztes CRM-System kann problemlos mit dem UC-Client verbunden werden und sie bekommen wichtige Informationen bereitgestellt. 4. **Kooperationsfunktion **– verbesserte Videokonferenzen, virtuelle Meetingräume, Desktop- und Filesharing  Daraus ergeben sich folgende Vorteile für jedes Unternehmen: - Gesteigerte Flexibilität - Effizientere Kommunikations- und Geschäftsprozesse - Einfaches Handling - Verbesserte Kosteneffizienz - Mehr Sicherheit  Ein weiterer großer Mehrwert für Unternehmen ist die Unabhängigkeit von Anbietern – im Gegensatz zu VPN- oder MPLS-Lösungen oder auch WAN-Konzepten, sind UCC und SD-WAN nämlich frei von einer Bildung an einen bestimmten Anbieter realisierbar. Das macht die Einkaufspolitik wesentlich einfacher, da frei nach Verfügbarkeiten und Kosten der passende Anbieter ausgewählt werden kann.
